My wonderful coworker Ike Ali Pinkston has been working in early childhood education for over twenty years, so he is a fount of knowledge. A good example? He taught me this song!

As if dedicating your professional life to working with young children wasn't admirable enough, Ike also has an extraordinary background in community activism. Ike was one of the Frisco Five, a group of musicians and educators (Ike is both!) who went on a hunger strike to protest police brutality and racial bias in the San Francisco Police Department.

He's also a delightful goofball (in case you couldn't tell).
