“The assassination of such a prominent figure in the Russian military in Moscow itself will, of course, continue to spread that feeling of insecurity among the Russians.”

William Alberque tells #TimesRadio he’s concerned Russia will retaliate in kind, escalating into “tit-for-tat assassinations.”

Retaliation?
If Putin could do anything he would have done it years ago, he wouldn't have let his 3-day SMO blow out to 1028 days at a cost of US$ 200 Billion with an expected US$1.3 trillion in total cost (Reuters) if he could help it...

I'm sorry, but I'm hypnotised by the collection of CDs behind Alberque.
Congrats for the interview and musical tastes.

Trump doesn't know what he is doing. You give him far too much credit for 'thinking' about what to do in Ukraine.

I wonder if Russian generals are going to receive walkie-talkies for Christmas?

Trump will be in WAY over his head with this kind of issue. He has no patience for complexity.

You all make the mistake of talking about Trump as if he’s rational

What took place when Russian agents poisoned former Russian agents. In one case the agents killed when went back to Russia and got medals from Poo tin nothing was done to being these offenders to justice. Because they where in Russia and the other father and daughter lived but the offenders where never bought before the courts.

Why do you suggest Trump wants to impartially bring the war to an end, when he is quite clearly servicing and promoting Putin's agenda?

Problem is that trump is a great fan of putin and other dictators

TR go to questions: will thiss be escalatory and will it be detrimental to us in any way? I wonder if putins invasion of a sovereign nation, the constant hovering drones in civilian areas of Kherson, the forcible remival of children, the actions in Bucha, the blowing of a dam, the acceptance of an uninvolved nation's troops to attack a European country is considered escalatory.

It depends what trump has been told to do by Putin.

If Trump boasting he has met Putin and Kim Jong Un and got on well with them is impressive, it isn't. It enforces my opinion that he is a gangster.
