RU-20 (PRC-515) Battery upgrade

In this video I show how to replace the original battery with more modern 18650 Li Ion cells.
You will need to provide around 24V to make the radio work properly. With this setup the battery will run at 25.2V when fully charged. The capacity will be around 5000mAh, much more than the stock battery.
You will need
Twelve 18650 batteries (I got them from an old laptop battery), 6S BMS, Spot welder, Nicker Stripe, a power connector, Kapton tape and shrinking tube.

I am just an amateur, I decline any responsibility if you attempt to follow this procedure.

Always charge the lithium cells with the right charger, in this case 6S
