I love seeing weird Lego themes and sets. Interesting what has come from LEGO when they have tried different things, even when they don't pan out. Some great parts have come from non system themes.

It's going to be great seeing all of the Star Wars ships, the Axalara T9, the Jetrax T6 hanging from your ceiling and then this extremely hollow Znap jet.

That looks like Fischer price? They used to have a similar connector system. But that doesn't have much to do with Lego in my opinion?

You just gave me a massive shot of nostalgia.
Had this set as a kid, along with a massive motor powered transforming green robot. (Maybe it was massive because I was little, but I swear it was much cooler of a transformation)

Love your channel to man. Keep it up.

I finally got one of these Znap sets last year!

Whoa, I loved Contrux, but I had no idea LEGO had their own version of them.

I remember getting ZNAP parts in a garage sale years ago! I think it was from a set called Blackmobile!
This brought back so many memories :)

I would love to know how many sets are listed on brickset and of those how many you have. And then your top ten don’t have sets that’s on the want list

You should update your top 10 dinosaurs video to include this set

This was from 1998?! I remember having ZNAP as a kid. Time flies.

‘Dino Jet’. So they just took the names of both modes and put them together to get the set name. It’s arms are even more nonexistent than an actual T-Rex’s and it’s literally just internal workings of a jet.

A massive amount of empty shelves there at 5.43! You have to plan ahead! 😀

Those red wheels are very comically placed for the standing transformation

LEGO attempted to copy K’NEX with ZNAP, but it ultimately failed. But IMO, a still very similar but more successful idea for LEGO to compete with K’NEX instead of ZNAP was by releasing even more LEGO Technic Pieces and Sets and making them more complex. LEGO Technic pieces already shares A LOT of similarities with K’NEX anyway with the lack of studs, plus mechanical components like gears, cranks and levers, and even electric motors.

Testicles. First thing I saw when you stood it up…

Znap pieces would be useful as structure pylons for larger technic builds, but as they were marketed they were just a downgrade of early technic builds.

4:33 Exactly - If someone had made use of this for a MOC somehow. Other than that, a rather sad Lego creation

LEGO could have done better with ZNAP back in the day. I think K'NEX had done it better.
