still have mine but running android kitkat on it. This phone is a beast. Can run almost any phone OS and can run windows 8 RT! Top that apple!

Watching this on an iPhone 14 pro in 2022 is wild, I still kinda miss this early days of the smart phone market! Soooo much more excitement back then.

The HD2 is one of the first smartphones to not lag throughout the whole UI. The iPhone 3G and 3GS of the era still lagged on occasion while scrolling through the UI and it's not like it's doing any fancy graphics work unlike the HD2 which can be so fluid even while pushing all those awesome animations. HD2 is undoubtedly one of the best phones EVER!!

11 years later watching this on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, where he said this is as big as phone screens will get made me laugh.

I miss the weather animations from the htc. This was my very first "big" screen smartphone. And I've never been blown away by a smartphone like the HTC HD2 did. It went with me in 2010 on my first trip to Thailand so I could stay in touch with the world and watch pre loaded movies on. When I went clubbing.. in the line, people said wtf are you carrying type of big ass phone tv screen lol "back when most people still were carrying flip phones" This phone was in one word awesome! (and 7 years later it still can kinda handle android 6.0 marshmallow)

Coolest looking phone ever.

Transitions are really sick, and the weather animations, etc add an awesome touch.

I really like how it can organize the activity by contacts too.

I've got a Samsung Eternity right now, this looks SO much better.
