i was waiting at the bus stop and one of these landed on my knee and i swear to god it hung out there for like 10 minutes. I took a pic of it and Google said it was a carpenter bee it was so awesome

I’m terrified of bees and wasps. Ever since I got stung by a black paper wasp years back and it swelled up and made me sick I been terrified of getting stung. I’m allergic :(

i had a pet carpenter bee once it would always hover over my porch so i can give it honey it would let me pet it pick it up even put it on my face and crawl around without stinging me
