Thumbs up! Pretty cool presentation regarding ADF architecture!

The presentation clearly discusses pros and cons for *every* pattern so I'd suggest your complaint is the presentation doesn't go into the runtime performance implications of each pattern.

The architecture is pretty much a design time overhead, and at runtime there's little impact on the runtime performance. Whether you go for one workspace or many, same with the projects, will not have a notably hit on runtime performance. However it can impact build time complexity and this is addressed.
