I actually completed the conditions for meeting the trainer Nova when I was growing up, I spent many days using the Battle Maison for level grinding, and I was absolutely certain that screenshot was real. I did not have a capture card, so I was never able to record it, but I indeed encountered her several times. Nice to know I wasn't remembering that incorrectly! Proud of myself for somehow doing this several times over. When I say I spent many days there, I mean it.

I have no copy here to verify myself but I am 99% sure there is a trainer in Emerald in the Battle Frontier that has a female only trainer sprite and says "Do you know my secret?" while also having a male name. I can clearly remember me and a mate from back then talking about it
