Moreover as a bi woman myself, I think a lot of us forget that LGBTQIA people are ACTUALLY a minority - not only in a societal sense but also physically. As a bi woman, it easier to have a boyfriend than a girlfriend because there are more straight men than lesbian women.

I told my parents that I like tomato soup and the response was a rather underwhelming, "Okay. We don't care as long as you don't get food poisoning."
