HAWKEYE Episodes 2, 3, 4 *REVIEW*

Here are my thoughts on the second, third, and fourth episodes of Disney Plus' and the MCU's Hawkeye show! Also sorry about the mic level issues in this one, will try to fix that by the next vid!

For me that scene where Clint can't hear his son on the phone and Kate is helping him understand his son is one of the most heartwarming/breaking scenes in the MCU

I just desperately want to see Kingpin come back. Seeing him appear would be the best thing I’ve been in these Disney+ shows. I am so excited to see the Netflix characters again.

I actually rather like the ending. When Kate fell off the building it not only brought back memories of Natasha falling on Vormir, but it also meant his promise to Kate's mom would have been broken, because Kate wouls have died on his watch. I agree that makes sense and that it's logical, but I think that's a good thing. It would be bad if the ending didn't make sense or wasn't logical.

Little shocking that since everyone seems to know Clint is Hawkeye, that Echo was so easily able to find out about his wife & kids. Seems pretty obviously dangerous for all of them to me. Anyone Clint has ever pissed off could get that info and do to him what Thanos did. Seems like he took steps backward in terms of protecting them since “The Blip”.

I get why you didn't like the ending. I think it makes sense so Kate can deal with her Mom and Jack. Clint deals with Yelena. King Pin also being revealed. It's a very logical direction to go in at this point. I don't think Yelena and Clint will be friends after their fight or interaction. Maybe just some respect for one another with the potential of growth. I mean I can't wait for next week. I think this show ends with Kate's Mom being bad. She spends Christmas at Clint's with his family.

I feel like them separating at the end of Episode 4 is more about Kate's safety and Clint feels responsible for her

I actually loved episode 4's ending, Clint actually does want Kate around as a partner but as with Tony and Peter, he feels he needs to protect her.

It's wonderful and I'm sure people hate it It reminds me of old James Bond and Spider-Man We need more shows that just follow heros slowly become heroes.

Yeah these Netflix characters aren't going to be exactly the same. So they aren't really canon. The word is they are keeping King Pin, Murdock, Jessica and Punisher with the same actors. They aren't keeping Luke Cage and Iron Fist actors (Iron fist one was terrible don't lie, also could be a good opportunity to tie into Shang Chi Ta Lo lore when you bring that character in wioth a new actor). It's More like a JJ in FFH situation. It's almost like courtesy. Marvel could have started from scratch and recast but they are keeping what worked really well.
