To anyone who watches this and suddenly wants one of these birds: parrots, (including plum and blossom headed) require a lot of specialized care, time, money, and are not guaranteed to talk. They make wonderful companions, but please do not get them on a whim, and do as much research on them as you can before bringing one home.

What an incredibly beautiful boy he is. It's very sad that he is forced to live in such a small cage. These birds are talented fliers and at the very minimum should be housed in a flight cage.

Also the lack of toys for enrichment and the thin metal "perch" is cruel. Parrots should be offered many different diameter perches to keep their feet healthy.

How would you feel stuck in a tiny, rusty cage with only a thin piece of metal to stand on?

Beautiful bird, I have on also. couple things, tho...they need a wood perch and toys for stimulation, your cage is barren of anything for the poor baby to do. I also noticed that the cage is a simple painted wire type cage and makes it easy for them to pick at the paint and could easily poison them. You should have a powder coated cage at the minimum....and unless what I saw was an adoration of his/her living quarters you need to do some research on how to care for a bird....jus sayin

I had a male plum head before that was a very good clear talker and was friendly, unfortunately got loose and flew away.

This is a Blossom head parakeet, not a Plum head parakeet ;) He very adorable and brillant though . Btw, kaha mil sakta hai yeh filal ????
