After reading the comments I was in doubt if I should buy it.. now that I’ve been using it for 2 months:
It is an amazing chair, my baby loves it!!!! Super comfortable and very easy for me to check on him. It’s expensive but considering the years that it will be useful for, so worth it.

Thank you cybex for producing a safe forward facing car seat. There is no way I can fit a rear facing seat behind me while driving. This is the next best thing.

I have one of these for a 3 year old and he usually keeps things on top of the very thick belt as his lap is inaccessible due to the belt. iPad, books, toys whatever. Will the exploding Airbag not Smash these items into a child's face?

I can't imagine this has been missed in the development and testing so I am genuinely interested to understand how this is being mitigated.
Thank you for any information

Sorry about the first comment, I just can't help. Now seriously ... Why do you put such effort in that kind of carseat when it's already proven, that RWF is up to 90 % safer than conventional forward facing carseat? Yeah, 50 % is not such a great number when you have to protect your child's life! So it's NOT at least as safe as RWF as you claim, it's 40 % less safe...

What happens after airbag is deployed? Does seat need replacement? Why is there no seatbelt or harness? Will the child get punched in the face by an airbag every time the car has to make a sudden stop?

Seems like Cybex is intentionally avoiding answering any of the questions that people asked here.

I also started like a sheep with the counter-top Cybex, thinking it was a great solution. Then all you had to do was open your eyes, turn on your brain, ask for advice, and now we have Klippan and Avova. In Cybex, I wouldn't put the child in it again.

I don't beleive that airbag is that strong to injure a child. But can suffocate it?That's my biggest concern.Other wise, I trust this seat. And I also beleive people who write comments put their kids' seats at forward position as soon as they turn 2 years.I don't know anyone in Europe who will keep their child in rear position after 2, and if it is there some is small percent.

Stopping the Car this ruff will not make the airbag explode, so reward facing seats are more safe for the Child in EVERY possible Situation. So why a very expensive forward seat? It makes no sense. Don't like this Carseat. 👎👎👎

This is shocking. ERF is proven to be 5x safer than forward facing, and also who wants their child being whacked in the face with an airbag, things known to do damage to adult faces in serious crashes. How does the airbag protect the spine from internal decapitation before the childs spine is fully developed?

Will this child therefore be submitted for Swedish Plus Tests to prove the claims (aka sales pitch) made by Cybex? No forward facing seat has ever passed Swedish Plus testing, but if Cybex claim this is a safer option than rear facing for a child over 15 months, then surely they’d have no qualms about submitting for the most rigorous testing?

Коляски сайбекс ужасного качества, ожидал что почти за 100 тысяч за комплект, люлька не станет ломаться после двух использований и ее хватит на пол года. До сервиса не дозвониться.

Why the fu*k you wanna still put that creepy shield in front of child when he/she should be in REARWARD FACING carseat? Risking injury of head and neck, when in RWF non of these injuries occur!

This is appalling. Rear facing is ALWAYS SAFER no matter what. You keep suggesting people buy this and that it offers 50% more protection to other FF seats... But did you forget that ERF is the safest? There is no arguing that point. The evidence is heaped in favour of ERF.

Most people only seem to consider frontal collisions. Sure forces in a frontal collision are usually more violent since it works against usual trajectory of the vehicle - BUT from experience working in a car dealership & handling car accidents most accidents I deal with on a daily basis involve someone, often distracted, rear ending our customer's cars, in which case the resulting forces would firstly push a child INTO a forward facing seat. So this kind of seat appears to be the best protection for any kind of accident.
