while you may have seen the HTI XPR in one of our previous videos, HTI has just recently announced the HTI XLPR same concept but now in long action. now in additiona to this they have added something that hasn't previously been done before (or at least not since 1860's)
But now that machining is at its finest 12 grooves has some very impressive advantages

That 12 groove rifling could potentially be a game changer in competitive shooting. Imagine one barrel for the season. Time for other barrel makers to get up to speed on this.

I think I’m in love. That is one sweet rifle.

Great find & Thanks fer VERY interesting, ....& imo - bolt lug-lockup in a barrel is the BEST concept made, ....aslong as it is made with precision & accurately, comparable to any available precision today, as you said, WAY better now days than ever.

DAMN !!! - REALLY wish they would get a Dealer here in the States !!

Interesting. The barrel change system looks and functions almost identically to how Desert Tech's does. Desert Tech also has a rifle named HTI.

Quite a compelling concept. For me not for change of caliber but for easy replacement of a burnt out barrel.

The only question is where you can buy this beauty in Canada? Even HTI XPR is not available. 😢😢
P.S. Thank you for this interview! This Italian guy is significantly more knowledgeable and active than Colt's representative.

No throat erosion after 22k rounds? I highly doubt that. Could the 12 groove rifling be supporting the bullet better after it makes its way through the erosion? Maybe. Wonder how the fouling is? And what effect it has on velocity? I'm calling BS on alot of the claims about the barrel. What I see here is a full diameter bolt, barrel locking lugs, and a stiffer action that could potentially make it more accurate than say, a Tikka CTR.

I think that the key of the accuracy its the rifling, ritter and stark does the same with same effect but not same accuracy and the difference it's the rifling.

Will they be offering one in 7 PRC and are there any resellers in the US?

Still haven't seen one to This date.

I think you released this video about a week to early. 1/8 MOA for 20K+ rounds and no throat erosion?

I'll believe it when they're winning matches. Until then it just sounds like marketing hype.

I'm still calling bull on 1/8 MOA. This guy needs to show it shoots what is essentially a 1 hole, 5 shot group at 100 yards/meters as he is claiming it can do or stop giving that accuracy metric. No hand loads allowed. Factory match ammunition only.

What a great video. Where do you find these in Canada ? And it’s awesome you can go from 22 to a lot higher

1/8" moa ??? It takes more then an accurate rifle to get those results consistently.

How many shooters are good enough to be able to even shoot 1/8 inch 😂 most time your limited by the shooter not the gun on how good groups
