How to attach drawer slides

Before attaching drawer slides, determine the position of the slides inside your cabinet.
Make sure you leave enough space and that the drawer still fits.

Watch the 4 s from 0:17 like a hawk. It’s shows the wheels on both the cabinet and the draw are
Outermost. Only one type of metal thing will fit the bottom of the drawer. It has a couple of little bumps which will stop the drawer falling onto your toes. The other weirdo is attached to the cabinet.

I have similar drawer slides, one side has this ridge part that keeps the wheel for the slidy part in place but the other side doesn't so the wheel can come off easily, does anyone know if it's supposed to be like that? In theory, when the wood is in, it should stay in place but I'd rather know for sure instead of risking putting my laptop on there and it crashing down
