Review: 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid - The One To Get?

I spend a week with the 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid in its top Touring trim. Honda made some nice improvements for the 2021 refresh, the biggest of which is wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto in the higher trims. Mechanically, they've retuned the power delivery and safety systems to be better than before. They've also brought things like the wireless charging pad and rear USB jacks down to the lower EX-L trim as well. And now the 8 inch touchscreen is standard across all trims. The rest is unchanged, but it still remains one of the best mid-size family sedans. As-tested price is $37,590 for this loaded Hybrid Touring. What do you think about the 2021 Accord? Im glad you make the enthusiast argument for the hybrid especially in todays economy. All other reviewers trash the Accord hybrid and say the 2.0t is the only way to go.

Seems to be a lot of road noise @ 14:00. I'm curious how much quieter (& softer ride) the EX-L is with the different wheels & tires. Hybrid owners (EX-L & Touring) please comment.

I have the 2018 Honda Accord EX-L Hybrid and the only negative for me would be that It's sits lower then I would like, but it definitely does have some get up and go.

I've never trusted the OBC to 100% accurate, the calculator NEVER lies. Your right about winter due to temps and winter blend fuels.

Great video and lots of insight. Im trying to decide between the 2.0 Touring and the Touring Hybrid. Im not familiar with how powerful hybrids feel when driving. Do you feel like there is a big difference between the 212hp and the 252? I dont hot rod my cars, but Iike a car that will move.

I looked at these, but that engine just doesn’t speak to me. I’ll stick with my 2018 EX-L 2.0. Only 32k miles due to the pandemic. Did a lease and now a buyout. The Accord is easily my favorite car. Matt you’re so right about that ride. I remember watching your 2018 Touring review and your reaction to the ride is what sold me. 😎👍🏼

Gotta love them mini refresh I'm 50/50 on them. They really put the last gen accords rims on this. I always find it funny how this & the current dodge charger looks some what the same from the front.

I test drove 21my camry hybrid and accord hybrid touring yesterday. For some reason, accord's road noise was coming in a bit too much for me. Maybe it was relative because the side windows had double layer and it was quieter..
