Excellent camera, software, Faster updates, silky smooth user experience etc even though it has as a 3000mah compared to the 4100mah battery, G5plus support Turbocharge so if u want to top up the battery, it does charge the in a small amount of time.. So I think the battery issue is solved...
I admit that g5 plus is not good when compared to the RN4 in terms of looks
But 4000rs higher is what making me think twice..

Reasons why I sold my Note 4 for G5+ (got it for 15300 4gb model)

1) Best in class budget camera (far far better than my Note 4).
2) Android Nougat 7.1 available and regular google updates.
X) Full stock android experience, no heavy resource UI like MIUI.
3) Decent build with 5.2" IPS FHD screen. (slightly better colors and no yellow tint)
4) Support for Turbo charging 10-75% in 55mins.
5) Water repellent coating, NFC, Gorilla Glass 3.
6) 10% sbi cashback on 16th march.
7) Easily available unlike note 4.
8) Better after sales support. (Mi took 19 days for minor hardware issue)
9) Apps loading and switching much faster than note 4, Google assistant.
10) Dedicated sd card slot.
11) Many Note 4s have been shipped with Dead pixels. Check on RN4 FB groups.

Instead of G5 plus I'll definitely go for redmi note 4 because -
1. It's much more aggressively priced and offers way better value for money.
2. 64gb on-boot storage.
3. More screen to body ratio meaning less bezzels and overall a better design.
4. Bigger and better display.
5. Far better battery life.
6. Almost equal performance.
6. Miui tweaks and customization
7. Available in matte black color which is my personal favorite
8. Redmi note 4 also has 2.5D curved glass which helps in ergonomics.

The only field where moto G5 plus shines is the camera performance.
Many would say moto G5 plus has nougat, fast Charing, Google assistant and dedicated micro SD slot.
But who need SD card with 64gb storage certainly I don't.
Google assistant and nougat are already there in the beta and will soon make their way to stable version of redmi note 4.
Moto G5 plus battery last for 1 day and can end even earlier if you use it heavily by gaming and using jio all day. And because of this you need fast changing.
In redmi note 4, the battery can last up to 2 days easily, and most of the people prefer to change their phone overnight so charging time doesn't matter.
Moto comes with stock android but there are a variety of roms available for redmi note 4, you can flash one for your device incase you hate miui.
Moto has a better camera but it is the only advantage of it over note 4.
The price difference is high too.
All in all note 4 serves me better for my buck so I'll go for it.

The extra 4k on moto g5 plus over rn4 because -
1) Gorilla Glass (out of Xioami's league)
2) Fast Charger in the box (Rn4 not capable of fast charging)
3) A Great Camera (Out of Xiaomi's reach)
4) Stock Android Experience

You should have considered more comparison points like the charging duration, sensors (moto g5+ lacks a few sensors), nfc etc. Pls make an elaborate comparison between phones which are so engaged in cut throat competition.

I would prefer redminote 4 but due to this crap flash sale i bought moto g5 plus fr 15300..and used this fr half a day.. This not that bad.
