What happened to Zed Audio? I remember having some AutoTek & HiFonics amps like my Cyclops (100x1) and Zues (200x1) during High School in 90’/91’ that were built like tanks! That “Cyclops” I used in 3 or 4 different cars on 15” Kicker subs in single and double configurations and that 100 watts seemed so mean back then compared to the punch 45, the punch 75, & the Punch 150 in those early days! I hate they went away because ZED knew how to build amps and every brand they left or sold out to went to crap!#ZedAudio❤ #LEGENDS

These amps are very special design in that the "true mono" actually parallels all the channels' output devices together rather than inverting one channel and summing them. This might explain the "weird results" that goes against what you are accustomed to seeing.

I use to rock one of these back in the days to two xtr 15's. Wasnt teabag. There is a couple really cheap crunch v drive amps on ebay those might make for a great vid. I was think on picking the 600 up but not the series I collect.

Great stuff as always. ESX And Rodek were a couple of Mantz' more sought after brands, (outside of HiFonics and Autotek).

Probably the 'High Voltage' mode is for higher ohm loads because they need them; remember, twice the ohm equals about half the watts. But that size though! Back when real is real!
