We adopted my son 22 years ago.  His birth mom was only 14 and she could have easily aborted him.  She chose life even though she was pressured to terminate her pregnancy.  My son just graduated from college as a violin performance major. He was never unplanned in God eyes.  Before the foundation of the earth he was in God's thoughts. Ok so a bit of backstory, one of the ladies at my church is a pro-life speaker and she’s actually best friends with Abby Johnson (she’s actually the godmother of Abby’s unborn 8th child currently 😄) and she was “in the know” about a lot of the stuff that went into making this movie (they even got to visit the set during filming!) and she told us the story behind this song being in the movie.

So they wanted a title song just like most Christian movies do (think God’s Not Dead lol) and they were considering a bunch of different Christian artists like Lauren Daigle etc... but they couldn’t decide, and then they ended up calling Matthew West about it and he said “I can’t believe you guys are actually talking to me about this right now” and that it had been on his heart for a couple of months before that phone call, and that he had already written it. Then he started singing it over the phone to them 😭 and obviously the rest is history :D

And Mr. West, I already loved you and your music before this but I have infinitely more respect for you now because of this 😭 thank you!
