For me I prefer the Motion 300 because it sounds more bassy, I will always go for more bass.

Replaced Soundcore Motion Plus tweeters for Aiyima 8 ohm 15 watts tweeters and the change on clarity and definition are remarkable. It sounds good as it is, but some how, I felt like the Motion Plus highs were just a little muddy for my taste so I gained 2-3 db on highs by replacing tweeters. It opened more the vocals and instruments. Motion 300 sounds fantastic, but a single driver can't simply separate what tweeters can. Thanks for the great videos, Jay!!

Soundcore should release a v2 of the motion plus. I already have a motion plus and it is incredibly good. It has a punchy bass and a super crystal-clear sound. They should release a v2 of the motion plus with Bluetooth 5.3 and a bigger battery. Also, they should introduce more color options just like JBL speakers.

I disagree. The Motion 300 has the better sound in my opinion. It is more full bodied which leads to a natural and organic sound. I am listening to this video with my Sony XM4 In Ears. The Motion+ sound is thinner. Some "Body" of the music is missing. It sounds colder and dryer (not clearer or better) because of these missing frequencies. It sounds good but a bit harsh. Vocals are much fuller on Motion 300, more forward, have more "body" (sweatness) and much more organic with the Motion 300. The bass on Motion 300 is more natural and fuller too as the whole sound in general. The spatiality of the sound is much better on the motion 300. "The vibe" (grooviness) of the music is more enjoyable on the motion 300 in sum, which is most important while listening. I need one. 🙂

I'll just keep rockin with the Motion Plus. Less versatile, but booth 30 watts, and the Plus like u said, in a larger body, just more capable. EQ it and it sounds great.

I love the motion plus. I just wish it had better battery life. It has the 3.5 jack and the apt x.... But when I had to choose between getting a pair of it or the motion boom, I just couldn't overlook how the motion boom got triple the battery.

Not really please with the direction the company has gone in 2023. Pretty spurious claims about spatial audio, oversaturation with marketing akin to raycon.... I think the glory days of soundcore were 2019-21

Jay I agree with you, the OG is still the GOAT between these two… you should throw in the the Boost (upgraded) vs these two… with a custom app setting …it might surprise you!

Motion 300 Lasted 6 months use. Heavy outdoor use has rendered this speaker to ewaste now, excessive distortion levels even at low-moderate volume levels, piss me off I was so hoping this 1 really could be the best small speaker. There should be 1 larger driver instead of the 2 smaller drivers that can’t handle the 30w power over time.
