I wish law like 2nd ° amendment in Brazil because here only criminals have guns (war guns, guns that with one shot can be stop a car, guns that can be knock down police helicopters), police have old and rusty guns ans people have sticks and rocks. It would be more difficult for the bandits to act if they knew that the population also had weapons. The population without guns encourages the bandits to act. In 2005 63% of population voted for a referend to get guns but the state (president Lula of left) pretended to be blind and deaf. Since that the criminal curve only increased. Gangs like PCC (São paulo) and Comando Vermelho (Rio de Janeiro) grow strong. Now, president Bolsonaro since 2019, is trying to give the right to the people have guns and many congressman is trying to prevent. Since Bolsonaro was elected tons of drugs was captured and the criminal curve have been decreased very different then president Dilma or Lula have been in power. Like american founding fathers sayed and Bolsonaro repeat: the people have rigths to have guns becouse if the state become tyrant the people have to be the right defend yourself . And I fully agree. And I'm sorry for my poor English.
