What is #profinet Cable?
A PROFINET is based on standard #Ethernet IEEE 802.3 Physical layers using 802.3 supporting components.

PROFINET will work on copper Ethernet cable, #FiberOptical (FO) cable, Power Over Ethernet (POE) cable, and Wireless.

The components available for your PROFINET infrastructure depend on the harshness of the environment and whether or not you are using PROFINET IRT.

Application
● The cable is specially designed for PROFINET and is widely used in industrial Ethernet applications such as machines, equipment, instruments, and control panels.
● The electrical properties follow #CAT5e standards.
● PROFINET copper cable suitable for fixed applications or occasional movement.

Features
● Flame resistance according to IEC60332-1
● Have good performance of resistance to external EMI
● LSZH (Halogen free,low smoke) & PVC & PUR for cable's Jacket
● Excellent transmission performance
● The cables have excellent tensile and compressive properties.

PROFINET cables come in two flavors: copper and fiber optic.
● The structure of the wires in copper cables can vary. They can have a solid core or stranded core and variations in the jacket material and construction.
● Stranded core cables, for example, are more flexible. They are suitable for indoor applications where twisting and bending can occur. Different jacketing materials can resist flames, chemicals, or extreme temperatures or, in specific applications, come in different colors.
● There are four PROFINET copper cable types: A, B, R, and C.
