I think kamal hassan sir character create complex because he think himself as krishna as krishna has his own city on water called "Dwarka" and as dwarka submerged into water so it should not happen to his city complex he created it in air balancing on land .

Bro actually in Hindu mythology there is mentioned that kali was born from Lord bhramha.. Actually the story is that from Lord bhramha's stomach ( front side ) Dharma was born and from Lord bhramha's Back ( Back Side ) Adarma Was Born..And Kali is the Great Grand Son of Lord bhramha..And Lord Bhramha himself created the Gandiv Bow..So As kali is a part or reincarnation of Lord bhramha..that's why he is able to lift the gandiv..As you see in the movie yashkin's ( Kali's ) last form was quite similar to lord Bhramha..

I think it can be Brahma Padartha also known as Lord Krishna's heart. As per Kalki 2898 AD, except for Kashi, all cities are destroyed. Then maybe Yaskin, after taking over Puri, took the Brahma Padartha also known as Lord Krishna's heart, from the Lord Jagannath idol. He somehow transferred it into a seed to gain its power.

@FlickVerse I feel the reason Karna's character is brought into this, is because they wanted to build a link for the next Chiranjeevi Parshuram. Since Karna was his disciple. It makes sense to bring Karna to bring in as a link for the next Chiranjeevi character to be roped in for the next movie in this Kalki Cinematic Universe.

Yaskin thinking of himself as Kalki makes a lot of sense.
In the opening animated sequence when Ashwatthama was singing the song it has 2 lines similar to what Yaskin said at the end in post credit scene.
In Ashwatthama's song he says "Dharti ki kokh se janm lekar aa jao" & Yaskin also said "Dardarati dharti ki kokh se ab janmega".
In the song Ashwatthama says "Srishti ka chakra ghuma dharm bankar aa jao " & Yaskin says "Jagannath ke rath ka chakra esa ghumke aayega".
Some parallels i noticed between the parichhed and Ashwathhama's song.

I have a mind blowing theory, captain is actually duryodhana. Know it sounds meaningless but it makes a lot of sense, when you try to understand his character. In mahabharat duryodhana is the first person to accept karna as warrior and gave him recognition. His entire life was changed by him. Similarly captain saved bhairava and gave him a new life. Duryodhana was karnas best friend and the person who matters the most. Same with captain and bhairava. Duryodhana won pandavas and droupadi in gambling. As karma captain lost bhairava in gambling. Bhairava betrayed captain which is one of the many contradiction to karnas character, which i will explain later. There is a high probability that bhairava got captain caught because of some reason. And captain is probably held prisoners somewhere in the complex, so bhairavas only goal in life is to go to complex so that he can free captain. That explains why is so determined for it. Also it's worth noting that bharaivas life will not only a redemption arc for karna, but also opposite of karna. For example karna was dhaanshoor on contrary bhairava takes things/money from people and never returns it. Karna had curse of forgetting in the most crucial moment. But on contrary bhairava remembered (that he is karna) in the most crucial moment.
Karna was always calm and serious while fighting. Bhairava is lazy, funny . Similarly captains character can provide a small redemption arc for duryodhana too. Yaskin is whthert kali or not, yaskin getting gaandiva simply means, bhairava will have a fight against gandivdhari either yaskin or someone else(reincarnation of arjun on evil side), and bhairava will defeat him, as to give Justice for karna in kurukshetra.
