To save yourself all of that hard work scrubbing, you should have got a bigger chunky tool in the box that has rotating bristle wheels, which does all the agitating for you. Look in the manual and it will show you. You don't need to scrub with it, just slowly move it over the stained area and it does the work for you. Also don't keep wetting the same area too much or you will end up with delaminated carpet, which means the fibres and the backing start separating from one another. Instead try agitating it a few times with the tool I've mentioned, then remove as much water/moisture as possible and let it dry completely over 24 hours and then have another go. 

One last suggestion, when you've finished cleaning any of your carpet, always remove the detergent bottle and just clean once over with non solution water, so that you manage to remove all of the suds, other wise when your carpet dry's it will leave a sticky residue which will attract dirt easily and you will be forever cleaning your carpets. I use to work for ChemDry carpet restoration company, so I hope this helps. P.s. did you give your carpets a good vacuum before you started cleaning, as that will help the roller bristles not get tangled to much with loose hairs and fluff

Thanks for the informative video… can you remove the handle for storage purposes? Is the antibacterial solution also the cleaning solution? Do you add the antibacterial solution every clean? I was thinking if you were just cleaning rugs etc., or small area do you just add small amount. Are you still happy with the cleaner and it’s performance? Finally are the carpets soft to touch afterwards. I have a lot of distressed hard limestone floors and would use it mainly for rugs, stairs, dining room and bedrooms. Hope my questions make sense. Apologies for so many ? Stay safe…

U should try first make up remover, it will work better then that
