No. If Fall Blau was successful, Operation Nordlicht would be next.
Reaching Astrakhan is too far a stretch for 1942, btw

Ok this makes almost no sense. Stalingrad and the oil fields were a crucial moment in the war and there would be no way for the Russians to make any major comeback/push into Germany afterwards.

Well this makes no sense but I like the effort :D The German goal after conquering stalingrad and securing sufficient oil supply from the caucasus, was to make the frontline smaller all across the eastern front by making limited offensives at strategic points, cutting the murmansk railway and force a surrender of Leningrad to free up troops. This would force Russia to surrender, if they had not already, since a loss at stalingrad would likely cause Russia to starve significantly in terms of food and oil, making the Russian army unable to continue the war effectively since they would be forced to demobilize on a massive scale to avoid collapse. We would not see any large scale offensives further east by the Germans, since all their strategic goals would already have been achived, and an attack on Moscow would likely be too costly. (Not to mention the logisical issues in advancing further east) I would also like to add, that an German invasion of the entire caucasus, down to Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, is very optimistic to say it mildly, and was not the goal of the German campaign in the caucasus. If it was even possible, which I doubt given the logistical nightmare for the Germans in the region, there is a high chance the allies would send troops from the Middle East to support the Soviets who would be on the brink on collapse or possible already collapsed.. Even in a fictional scenario where Germany manages to capture the Baku Oilfields, the Soviets and Allies would have destroyed the Oil facilities completely making the region useless for the Germans for atleast a year and possible more. All that said, a Victory at Stalingrad would pretty much make Germany able to secure its eastern front, no matter if the Soviets continued the war, sued for peace or collapsed. A fun scenario would be if the Soviets did not surrender, but the front turned static, with Germany only making the front smaller like they planned, and achieving their limited operations we know they had in mind, to secure their position even more. How would d-day be like? If succesfull, what would Europe look like after the war with the Soviets so badly mauled? Would the US consider using nukes on Germany? - many of the bombing campaigns on German cities left many more dead and as much destruction as the nukes dropped at Japan so it could be a likely possibility. However could fear of German retaliation on british cities be enough to prevent this? Germany even made projects of aircraft able to reach the US later in the war. It could be that after bombing compaigns from both sides, where German cities are nuked, and US/british cities are heavily bombed, they make a cease fire not seeing a reason to continue the war, with the Soviets out of the picture. So many interesting scenarios u can use for a video that actually would make sense :P

The Soviet Union wouldn’t of been able to launch any such offensive if they had lost Stalingrad, assuming it’s 1943 when they lost, their casualties were absolutely tremendous and would not recover from the costly defeat as Germany didn’t in real life. The caucuses oil fields were absolutely crucial to the USSR it gave them over 85% of their oil. No armored offensive, no battle of Kursk nothing of such would’ve happened if the Red Army failed to repulse the German invasion of the caucuses. Ontop of this, Germany wouldn’t have a battered army group south, an offensive towards Kazan would be much more vast and wide strategically moving around the Caspian Sea. The Soviets poured EVERYTHING into stalingrad, absolutely everything. If they were defeated and the Germans crossed the Volga at any point, the Soviets would have absolutely no offensive drive. Dedication to more forces in the south would be needed due to the costly defeat and the German offensive capability there. Thus the red army would be forced to divert forces from elsewhere. If Stalingrad fell in 1943 to the Wehrmacht, their next offensive wouldn’t be Kazan, infact it would be Moscow itself because they would realize that the Soviets are now spread thinner than before, a strategic offensive the size of the Kazan offensive would occur at moscow instead. Inevitably encircling the city, keep in mind this is summer also, (as you stated) so the Germans have the advantage. With Moscow encircled a couple of things could’ve happened. Stalin could’ve fled to eastern Russia beyond the Ural Mountains and not surrendered. Stalin could’ve killed himself leaving his armed forces to finally unconditionally surrender. Or he could’ve negotiated a surrender with the Oberkommando der Whermacht. Now keep in mind, Stalingrad (bears the name of Stalin himself) would’ve been a deadly morale loss. One they couldn’t recover from, a simple action like Stalingrad being taken or the germans crossing the Volga incredibly change history. With the Soviet Union out of the way, they would be able to focus now on Italy & have a reinforced western wall which would force a failure at D-Day. German forces in 1944 on Eastern Front would’ve diverted to the west & south for defense. After D-Day failed operation sea Lion would’ve finally been activated roughly sometime in summer of 1945. Yet again, the Soviet Union wouldn’t of even been able to launch an offensive depicted here if it were the scenario you drew.

Don't think Germany would just directly go towards Kazan

I think the allies wouldn't make a landing in 1944 if the Germans were still deep in Soviet territory

For people that really don't understand the scenario.
Although the Germans could achieve domination in caucasia, most of the oil fields would've been evacuated or bombed as quick as possible, to cut off German strategic resources. With the Nazis having logistical problems as the front would overstretch, and the oil they were promised would be gone, Soviets could possibly launch a counter attack, having plenty oil reserves saved from the early years of war and having the lend lease act that provided tons of resources from American Nevada and Alaska regions.
Each day the resistance in Ukraine, Belarus and Baltic nations grew, as Hitler claimed these nations under the shoe of tyranny instead of co-operation, which resulted mostly in supply shortages.
The most influence over the war would be the time, that could give opportunity to launch the nuclear bomb production, and many more wunderwaffe's that would inflict the front somehow. Yet, Nazis had only 1 opportunity to win the war. Dunkerque. If the Brits didn't evacuate, and their manpower would vanish, Churchill would lose popularity and soon, would've been overthrown, giving a chance to Germans for a peace, that could possibly change the outcome of the 2nd Great War.

It seems reasonably realistic, however a soviet summer offensive in 1944 with a largely intact German 6th Army and Army Group South would never have progressed so well.

But if they took Stalingrad quickly and didn’t lose so many troops in the battle they would have steam rolled the rest of the Russian army. Not to mention if Stalingrad fell Germany could force a surrender as Russia would starve literally and oil wise

I don’t get the people saying it’s unrealistic, Germany was in no way ready to fight a war so king. Sure, capturing oil fields would be crucial, but it would only prolong the inevitable. The Soviet Union is a giant country with every man woman and child understanding that this was a war for survival, and Germany doesn’t have the man power to oppose such nation. They would only get some oil to fuel their tanks for some time and I doubt the fact that the Soviets will leave them working, they would probably just destroy them. And the landings on the west would still happen.

I like that the Germans didn't just magically win because they took Stalingrad and the Caucasus

Honestly allied victory was inevitable when Germany invaded the USSR. Germany was suffering shortages of everything. Oil, steel, food, men, war material, etc where all in critical supply. Taking the caucuses would’ve exacerbated, not solve the problem. Keep in mind it would take at least a year to bring oil production online, the Germans had a critical shortage of oil extraction equipment, and the soviets would’ve destroyed all of their oil extraction equipment. Historically, the nazis were able to acquire some oil reserves in the caucuses, but were unable to benefit from it due to these factors. The immense amount of territory conquered would have to be garrisoned and clearing the caucuses of resistance would’ve been a costly nightmare. The red army would’ve been able to rebuild itself like it had been able to 3 times previously. The nazis would’ve been stretched even thinner in our timeline. Also keep in mind that the atomic bombs still exist, and would’ve been used on Germany.

IMO that's pretty accurate, Germany could never win Barbarossa if the allies are constantly threatening invasion, but I think the USSR would have suffered *many* more casualties and would push much less into Europe than it did in our timeline, simply because they're much weaker.

So basically, ww2 last 2 more years and most of germany is liberated by the US, and Austria and Czechia too

The germans would be too exhausted to get to the capsian sea after the battle of stalingrad, not to mention, Uranus was gonna happen anyway, the logistics wouldn't allow a drive much further than what had been accomplished

Since most of DDR is under allied control, a communist Germany wouldn't be viable since it'd be too small, would it all become west Germany, or would east Germany get what's shown on the map and also keep pommerania, silesia, east prussia, etc, since otherwise it's too small?

Sorry bro, but I disagree with you. Becaz- if Stalingrad had fallen, then thier motive that they could fight against the Germans would have aroused . As moral of USSR then was going down and down it literally going to be a massacre for Soviets and then the Germans would have a better position in all front due to the supply of oil the had gotten
