I am from rangpur, where abu sayed was killed and no he was not shot by rubber bullets but by actual bullets. They even tried to manupulate his post mortem report by bribing and threatning the doctors.

Sheikh Hasina was a notorious dictator. She was in power without any public mandate for 11 years. However, India was continuously supporting the undemocratic regime of Hasina, which was the biggest reason, Bangladeshi s' become unfavourable to India. Even when students protest was going on and innocent students were killed by police, India stand was like all the incidents happening in Bangladesh, is internal matter of them. But when Hasina resigned and fled from country, they become active on Bangladesh.

Abu sayed born to change the history of bangladesh... he is symbol all emotions, spark the movement, boiled the blood to students and all general people's. But unfortunately our dictator did not able to read the entire people's eyes. People's was angry against government since many years because of corruption, human rights, press freedom, unemployment, rules of law so on...but fear to speak. But abu sayed open chest, inspired every one. Even later many students give their open chest but un arm. Got killed also. There is not a single photo or video evidence that students have gun or sharp arm. Bare hands or a stick when they got attacked by police and hasina's party arm cadre.i can challenge. In some video people's running with gun and sharp tools all was from hasina's gangster. But our bd government media blind due to censorship.reselt:::: Fall of a brutal dictator, fascist, mafia government.hope every government will learn from it. Feels so sorry for his very poor family. Thank you for explaining the happenings. Here are some additional details:
The quota movement was peaceful. But she called the protestors "rajakar" first. Later on 14th July, the Awami League leaders told the chatro league that enough protests now be hard-handed to the protestors. Then on the 14th night, the 15th BSL (Bangladesh Student League) and the police started attacking the protestor. Then the first of the martyrs who became popular (and sayeed) died. After that, the students of Dhaka University and others became furious and removed BSL from campuses. However, the BCL continued to fire on the protestors using illegal firearms under the protection of police. On 19th July the police attacked unprovoked innocent students and killed over 200 students and people and the government took away our freedom of speech cut off all the internet in our country and created a 5-day blackout. And used UN-marked tanks and helicopters to fire on innocent civilians and keep denying the massacre committed by her government. After the 5-day blackout, she kept crying about the infrastructural damage, which we later on found out was destroyed by her own party's people. From 25th July to 5th August she never once apologized for her behavior but kept arresting minors and unarmed innocents for the crimes committed by Bangladesh police and BSL. So the protest was not only students' protest after the blackout, their parents also raged on their behalf. After that, the teachers, lawyers, doctors, and workers of every age people joined the protest after the 1st of July. The BSL disguised as police came at midnight to every college and university and college-aged student's home and arrested them if they had any posts about the protest on their phone. Even the day before she fled, on 4th August, AL urged the BSL to attack the "militants" namely the mass people, and KILLED 170+ people in a SINGLE DAY!!! A journalist, David Bergman posted on X before the 4th " The prime minister's decision to bring the Awami League onto the streets today, in the face of huge popular protests calling for the prime minister to resign, was reckless and clearly going to result in violence"

BUT STILL, HASINA AND HER SON KEPT DENYING THE FACT OF death toll and kept blaming opposition and common people.!!! AND as a last resort to create diversity, the BSL STARTED TO TERRORISE THE MINORITY. The BSL's leaked chat shows that their master plan is creating propaganda and harming the Hindus. That's the limited version of the events. Feel free to look on the YouTube of the Bangladeshi news channel Jamuna TV, Channel 24, read The daily Prothom Alo and see the mass killings of every day. And how they abducted and forced the student co-ordinators to stop their movement.
