What are the 3 Anatomical Planes of Movements?

Anatomical plans are super relevant for both your anatomy and physiology exam, but also for your PT practical and when working with clients post course.

Once you truly understand these 3 anatomical planes of movement your overall gym programming goes to the next level.

Once you know the 3 anatomical planes, you can easily analyse your client's daily movements and sporting movements so you can plan a specific progression for towards your client's goal. See, most people live life using just one plane a time.

However, life requires us to move across all three planes constantly. For example, think about the simple move of getting into a car seat or moving around the office? You cross all three planes all the time.

Having lived a martial art way of life for 50+ years, I could finally hear ancient teachings in a different light and perspective. "If we can word It, we could perfect it", this video has worded it. Thx

Just getting back into studying for l2 after having a break for a year due to covid. I was worried I would need to read all the material and take a tone of notes again. But with these videos and your podcast it will make life easier for me.

Hi, just seen your video. I think u are great. I am doing my PT course from home after I finishes work, which I am finding harder than I thought. But after watching some of your video's, am slowly getting to grips with it all. So a seated cable row would be a transverse exercise/deadlift a Sagittal/barbell hip thrust a Sagittal to? Starting late with my course at 35, but love helping others and keeping fit/healthy. Watching this really helps, and hearing how the joints or plains of movement work better than just reading. Anyway, thanks and keep posting these types of videos.

Give some poses of photos is better to understand, all language is not easily to understand . but for those who have basic knowledge of this, is good.
