Hello! Since the 1970s, LADA has been building this exact same SUV, the 4x4, previously known as the #Niva. Is it any good in 2019? We have the whole weekend to find out. Enjoy the video!

The 2019 LADA 4X4 is almost the same car since the 1970s and it costs $14,000. I believe it is the perfect choice for people who want an affordable yet capable small SUV with minimal luxuries and tech. What do you guys think?

Lada Niva. Made for Siberia not Suburbia. The only car that has made it to Everest base camp.
Fantastic off road. I hope they never stop making it.

It's my dream car.
I know that it is old and it is not fast and other cars are better, but this is my dream car.

These were very popular here in Costa Rica and Panama growing as a kid. Pretty much bomb-proof.

The older and wiser I get, I appreciate this kind of old school car. I'm tired of ultra modern cars that AI decides what I should or must do. It's so advanced these days that the car even tells me for kcuf off.

The Lada 4x4 is not an SUV. Can not stress this enough. It is a purebred offroader, in no way is it any SUV.

Why cant they have these in the US. I would definitely buy one. The simpler, the better!

It's not about retro, it is about saving money in production. Russian's care about low price, reliability & easy DIY repairs.

u know you done right when a body design gets through several decades and never really looked out of date and then 50 odd years later actualy looks right on point

I believe this car is there for the ones who appreciate retro over everything else. You did a great job highlighting the essentials Ghadi. ❤️🤘

My first car was Lada Niva 1996 model. It was a tractor with radio. It was a very a reliable car for off roading here in Ethiopia. I wonder why the Russian are poor in marketing. This car could have been the best selling car in the entire Africa.

It's interesting to see an english language review or a soviet car made shut in Lebanon)) I have to commend this young man, he's very thorough and professional!

If you think that Lada could ever modify this design to satisfy the needs of snowflakes then you just don't get it. These Niva's are designed with no frills in mind. They are a cheaply built and bought work horse that takes you over rough terrain and they do it well, rattling and bumping all the way. Fashion consious trendy's and snowflakes will never understand the whole idea of it's existance.

I had a feeling that accent was familiar. Turns out such a professional review was done by a fellow countryman. Much love and support and great content! ❤️

Because of this review the LADA 4X4 is an option for me .

The length of time this car has been in production is a testimony to its ability off-road. Nobody buys one to cruise down the highway it's a 90% off-roader and most 4x4 are just to up market for practical use on a farm where as much mud is on the inside of the car as on the outside

Fantastic car, the content is there, but the fair price is 9900.

Nothing really has changed is the reason I would like to own one. In the US cars change to much to keep up with. I learn everything about a car then get a new model and every part has changed and it's all over again. I can get the parts here not the car sadly. So glad to live in the land of the free where vehicles are heavily regulated...
