1) it’s not German and it’s apart of the US military
2) it’s mainly use for putting supplies on it but Soldiers have rigged it to be a mobile weapons platform (you can see the ratchet straps and sand bags on the vehicle).

So before you internet Soldiers start criticizing what they’re doing know what you’re actually talking about before you start typing away

Vehicle type:

General Dynamics Land Systems has confirmed that it has delivered to the U.S. Army an initial shipment of 16 Small Multipurpose Equipment Transport (S-MET) vehicles, which are the first ground robots of their kind in Army history.

Based upon GD’s Multi-Utility Tactical Transport (MUTT), the S-MET is an eight-wheeled UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) that enables robotic technology for the dismounted soldier. Der Missionmaster ist NICHT autonom. Er muss IMMER via Fernbedienung gesteuert werden. Er ist eher Lasttier als Combatvehicle oder gar UGV. Aber was labert man nicht alles fürn Müll, um Klicks zu machen.
