Ava was to blame for her lack of discernment, ignoring red flags, and not trusting her parents perfect example of what love looks like. She done absolutely nothing to protect herself, protect the new man (who of course should have allowed the dust to settle, and allow her time to heal and sort her affairs out before getting romantically involved again) or her family. She is the reason all of this happened and no one can tell me otherwise.

The first act was surprisingly good. Slow paced but within reason. And then… nothing happens while everything happens nonsequential. That sentence made no sense, huh? Just like the second and third acts. Pure chaos, drastic tone shifts, indecisive characters with zero development. Only the first scene was entertaining, but that scene and those characters with the most dialogue are not connected to the rest of the plot. The acting from Meagan Good, Debbi Morgan, and Richard Lawson was impressive given that garage writing. Cory Hardrict’s acting… 🤔 WTF!! It was so abysmal. He has a resting b*tch face and still couldn’t give a believable villain performance. 2 out 5 stars.

Both these actors are great actors I just wish they would get from under Tyler Perry's cuz he's not a good writer Meagan Good just did a part like this in death saved my life.. Corey Hadtrict had a hard time in the industry but I think he's a very good actor he deserves better than Tyler Perry. Being portrayed as a broke black mad man
