I saw Bill and Tom at Universal studios Florida years ago when i was like 15 or 16 years old, at the time i didn't know who they were, they were standing behind us. Compared to my 4"11 height back then Bill and Tom were so tall compared to me. 😂 My friend knew who they were and was so excited, but I stopped her from trying to talk to them because i didn't want to bother them while trying to have a nice time. Honestly wish i would have gotten their autograph. Bill and Tom had the same old look they used to have.
I decided to look them up back then and became a fan ever since❤

I was always an outcast at school and I remember that age 11, I found Tokio Hotel on YouTube in the weeks before I was set to go on a family holiday to Bermuda. This was really before iPhones and streaming so I went on that holiday desperate to listen to Tokio Hotel again. As an adolescent, I found a lot of comfort in the fan community and listening to Tokio Hotel gave me a safe place. Yes, I was bullied for liking the band nobody had heard of, but even now at almost 27, Tokio Hotel’s music takes me to a place no other artist can. Seeing these pictures almost makes me emotional because I remember them vividly. I saw them as they were first published online. It takes me back to a time when the world was much less scary and there was refuge in music. Now it seems everything is all so loud and real.
