Blacklist | Exodus Live | Rockpalast 2017

Schlagzeuger Tom Hunting und Gitarrist Kirk Hammett, der spätere Metallica-Gitarrist, gründeten 1981 in der kalifornischen Bay Area, einem wahren Metal-Mekka, die Band Exodus.
Innerhalb kürzester Zeit drehte die Band die ganze Szene auf links, indem sie einen neuen, aggressiveren Metalsound erfand, der später Thrash Metal getauft wurde. Ihr 1985er Debütalbum "Bonded By Blood" ist ein wahrer Genreklassiker. Aber auch live hat die Band einen legendären Ruf.

Exodus would have been my all time favorite band if Paul Baloff sang on ALL the albums. I saw Paul-fronted Exodus in 1985 with Venom and Slayer in Hollywood. Then twice in 1986.
When I saw Exodus years later with steve souza on vocals. That was the last time I wanted to see them live. RIP Paul. You were the only Exodus vocalist that mattered.
