ΓΕΛ Ιάσμου - GEL Iasmou

Our school, “Geniko Lykeio Iasmou” (General High School of Iasmos), is a multicultural High School. It is located at the North of Greece, in a region called Thrace, a rural region , just a few kilometers away from Bulgaria and Turkey, that has been affected by climate change, and has been defined by its multicultural population and rural activities.

Geniko Lykeio Iasmou is composed of 14 teachers and 125 students. The students come from different cultural groups. The school provides general education, meaning that the curriculum is mainly theoretical. Along the basic curriculum, the school encourages students to carry out a variety of optional projects.
