The full scale war in Ukr is the result of 'negotiations' instead of military solution when Rus took away Crimea in 2014. Rus does not respect agreements. It was required to protect Ukr soverignity under Budapest memorandum but chose to invade it. It understands only force. For Rus, negotiations means an unconditional surrender to its terms.

Some days ago a senior Russian official told they would chase Zelensky throughout his life and e.x.e.c.u.t.e him. Lavrov(Rus foreign minister) told multiple times that Rus will outst Zelensky. If Rus really wants to negotiate, they would have maintained a milder tone towards Zelensky
