I understood Glover endorsed a crowdfunding operation to give us the dvd with just the showfootage. I dont understand why that d be necessary. Anyway, I loath the childish figures dominating this film. Afraid I wont live long enough to see the full concertfilm. Such a shame.

Unfortunately Coverdale sucked here. Lawton is the only one that could sing like Dio, including all the high notes with the descending notes ("when is AaaaAaaaAAaall"), Coverdale really couldn't do it. There used to be another video here onYouTube with less cartoon footage and more concert footage. On that one you could clearly see who is singing what and who is doing well and isn't doing that well.

Nothing against David, but John Lawton really owns him here. The only one that can do better was Dio himself....

I listened to studio recordidng virsion of Dio, as well as his live singing at the concert. In the studio recording, of course, not so bad. But in the concert version, Dio sings weakly. And here John Lawton sings live very strongly and convincingly.
