Seve was such a charismatic and truly great golfer. What he did for the game in Europe can never be overestimated.

Had the privilege and pleasure to watch Seve many times a genius. The course looked challenging and so green Northern Spain you could be in the UK!

Had the pleasure of meeting Seve many years ago at San Roque golf club. No trophy or competition win could replace it as my best ever golf memory.

Seve was my hero too. Lucky to get to know him a little and I have to say he had a presence like nobody else I have ever met

Loved it Seve was my golfing hero growing up. I literally bumped into him at the Belfry in the 80s, I was by the putting green and turned around and bumped into Seve.

Brilliant show. As a youngster Seve was my golfing hero. What he did to raise the profile of European golf cannot be understated. A true legend of the game and sadly missed. A trip of a lifetime for many golfers.

Was able to see Seve play in the Open in 2000 at St Andrews. I asked my spouse which golfers she wanted to see on the day and Seve was her first response. He was so incredibly friendly like no other player on the day.

Seve was my main hero too - being a 50+ geezer he was of my era. An absolute genius, flawed at times but that made him more relatable. Did heaps for the European Tour, some of the current crop seem to be just chasing the dollars. Never thought about Northern Spain before so this will be on my radar now.

Exasperating fellow that he was, for someone of my age, Seve was a total hero. People forget that he is responsible for the 'rebirth' of the Ryder Cup. His competitive desire was legendary. His short game was what made him my hero. He could literally pull off any shot except a straight one off the tee. He could also start an argument in an empty phone box but we have to forgive him that. His win at St Andrews in '84 is still my favourite golfing moment. Great show Dan and very poignant - thinking of Seve always brings a tear to the eye. That area looks amazing. Can't go without wishing Bernie all the best with his new ventures. I watched his opening 'proper' video and can understand why he has had to 'fly the nest'. It's a tough old world out there but let's hope it all works out.

Seve was why I wanted to play golf. I was privileged to have seen him play several times, the highlight being at the Wentworth PGA. He had just made the cut and was out early with a marker. There were comparatively few people there so access to him and being up close and personal was easy. His driving was all over the place but somehow he was round in 66. Amazing player and literally my hero.

Loved this video Dan. Seve was everything to European golf.

TSMS has evolved quite nicely into something subtly different 👍

Gorgeous place, and a fitting tribute to one of the greats.

Seve remains the spirit of golf. Thank you for sharing. Now firmly on my list of places to visit and play.

Thanks for putting this together Dan I have a deep affection for Santander and the surrounding area. This part of Northern Spain has so much to offer, the food, wine, culture, and history and should not be missed. Anyone who does visit the area should take time to visit the Cave Paintings of Altamira they are truly awe-inspiring
Football fans might also enjoy watching a game at Racing Santander, enjoying a barbeque on the beach before watching the game is a unique experience

Morning Dan. Seve was the greatest for me. And in an interview with his son Javier he described him as a better father than golfer. Say no more.
