His audience is fully aware that his wealth stems from his extensive career in film, theater, and explicit advertising deals. The same can't be said for a YouTuber who has promoted everything from cosmetics to books, and partnered with brands selling everything from dog car seats to perfumes.

As much as it might feel exhausting, offering transparency isn't just an option—it's a responsibility and a form of respect for your audience. They deserve to know where your earnings come from, especially when trust is the foundation of the influencer-viewer relationship.
