As a Chinese, I am hoping China would continue to grow and be stronger. praud of my motherland. I am hoping the CCP would continue to improve itself. I am not against an authoritive state. but I would love to see China to do more on being consultative authoritive state. Reason is one person one vote has been proved NOT working well. this Covid shows the incompetence of western democracy. I don't want to see China's future to be the United states

As the two speakers pointed out China, with its great technological developments in robotics,
autonomous vehicles and AI will realize great increases in productivity but there are also another
2 aspects. Today China is only number 61 in the worlds per capita GDP ranking, with their powerful
developments in technology and infrastructure they will advance from lifting nearly 800
million people out of poverty to, as Pres. Xi says, a moderately wealthy economy. That in
itself will produce an enormous additional growth potential in much higher consumer spending.
Also don't forget that all those countries participating in the BRI initiative will increasingly purchase
Chinese goods and services. With those above mentioned 3 factors China can still grow, even if its
population will fall back to around 750 million.

The U.S. is a declining economic power. In 1960, the U.S. accounted for 40% of the world's GDP. China's share was just 4%. Today, U.S. share has declined to 24%, a 40% decrease. Meanwhile, China's share has risen to 17%, a 325% increase.

Using Purchasing Power Parity, China's GDP is already larger than the U.S. Despite China's per capita GDP being 1/6 of the U.S., its domestic market is already than the U.S.

Consumer spending accounts for 70% of the U.S. GDP. There is not much room for further growth in consumer spending. In China, consumer spending accounts for 55% of the GDP. There is still room to grow China's consumer spending.

U.S. economic decline is its own doings. Over the last few decades it has lost its competitiveness in the consumer electronics industry, automotive industry, steel industry, etc. Putting up tariffs, using sanctions and trade restrictions will not stop its economic decline.

Is this guy a comedian? It's not going to happen. First of all, with regard to the current GDP number of 17.7 trillion? Laugh about 15% off that number and you have a more accurate look at the size of China's economy which will remain far behind the United States and continue to lose ground to the United States over the next decade. These people have been so wrong for so long it's time to just ignore them

It's the people that made the economy grow in China not really the ccp and the people deserve a better life, so why is the US trying to stop their progress, with all the past discrimination for the last hundred and fifty years in this country and still with affirmative action and all the Asian brain power that's being used by the technology companies in this country like NASA is 2/3 Asian but how many people know that; China is already because of you manufacturing hub it's already bigger than the US economy because the US economy is based on trillions of dollars of printed money 🤑

The implication is in the not so far future the Chinese GDP will double to $30 trillion from $15 trillions now in 12 years if it continues its average 6% annual GDP growth, 24 years to $60 trillions GDP a year in 2044, and its military budget will reach $1.2 trillion a year in 24 years later if it keeps it at 2% of GDP, or $1.42 if it spend 3.7% like what US has done and double the US military budget now. And what’s shown in reality is China has reached 12.9% GDP growth in the first half year of 2021 during a world pandemic period, not even the 8.5% growth rate the World Bank estimated. also, the CNBC data for FDI quoted here is wrong per a report as follows: Reuters- China was the largest recipient of foreign direct investment in 2020 as the coronavirus outbreak spread across the world during the course of the year, with the Chinese economy having brought in $163 billion in inflows.China’s $163 billion in inflows last year, compared to $134 billion attracted by the United States, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) said in a report released on Sunday.

Corruption in China's Housing, Infrastructure, Banking projects are in Crisis, Major Banks and CCP endorsed projects are filing for bankruptcy, just look at the amount of money Chinese citizens are paying for substandard construction. The BRI even had to stop 80% of it's expenditures. Looks like a house of cards to me. The High Speed Rail and 5G Internet is impressive, however a look behind the curtain shows HSR is underutilized and operating at staggering loses. 5G fares no better. Try to be concise please.
