I disagree with Rich Miano. College football has changed, and Hawaii has been left behind. For Miano to say that we should invest in a new stadium, a performance center, a nutrition center, etc. is just ludicrous when the State of Hawaii has so many bigger, more pressing problems. You want to pump more money into football and athletics when people cannot even afford housing in Hawaii? Invest in a training/nutrition center at the Manoa campus, when, just 1/2 mile away, you got tons of homeless living in Waikiki, Moiliili, and under the bridge and on the banks of Manoa stream? So many mentally ill and homeless in the state who are living under third world conditions, and you talk like the most pressing problem is UH football? Seriously?
