A Supernatural Mindset in a Natural World - Louie Giglio
Показать описание
Pastor Louie led our House into a new collection of talks, titled, ‘Priorities’ to help us align the three primary categories of our lives: our requirements, desires, and purpose. When these three facets overlap, we live and operate as God intended for us to live and operate; in a "natural" world with a supernatural mindset.
VERSES // Matthew 6:25-34, Colossians 3:1-4, Ephesians 2:4-6, Matthew 4:4

At Passion City Church, we believe that because God has displayed the ultimate sacrifice in Jesus, our response to that in worship must be extravagant. It is our privilege, and our created purpose, to reflect God’s Glory to Him through our praise, our sacrifice, and our song.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. What were your "New Year's resolutions" or hopes for 2020? Do you have any hopes, expectations, resolutions, proclamations, or intentions that you established for this year?
2. Pastor Louie, in an effort to help us set great priorities, led our House to highlight important truths about our lives; our Requirements, Desires, and Purpose. What are some of the ‘requirements’ in your life? Do you have an unusual or unique ‘requirement’ in your life?
3. What are your ‘desires’ for this year?
4. What are your gifts and how do you intend to use them this year? In what ways will they contribute to your requirements and desires?
5. Have you ever experienced the overlap of these three areas of your life? What was that like?
6. What are your primary concerns this month? What continues to come up, interrupting your sleep, work, and life?
7. What did you learn from Ephesians 2, Colossians 3 and your “current spiritual position”? Is this difficult to wrap your mind around? If so, why?
8. What for you is getting in that “middle space” – where all three of these categories (requirements, desires, and purpose) overlap?
9. How do you “find your Father”? Do you “find Him” before everything else you find in the day? How do you start your typical morning?
10.When was the last time you asked God in the mundane to use you supernaturally? Take a moment now to ask God to remind you in the “natural” moments to think, pray, and ask for the supernatural.
