Your content is really underrated, I just liked the video, it's a shame I don't have any friend to share it with them.
Hope your channel grows more.

I have played the Qf3 variation for a while. Nearly every well prepared opponent around my 2000 level goes for this Nc6 then queen swap. Explaining this middlegame is very helpful. This variation was told to me to be complete equalization by correspondence IM and probably why everyone goes for it. I will just practice the positions.

I mainly play Vienna because if they go either Bc5 or Nc6 I play Bc4 and I get the trap with Qg4 on board constantly. I also get another trap in French where Qg4 is main move on board all the time. I think players around 2000 level really not that familiar with early Qg4 vs undefeated g pawn threats to see them intuitively

Thank you so much for this video! I especially appreciate the section about the Larsen/Rogers setup. I usually panic when faced with the bishop on c5 and knight on g4, but now I see you can just play Bg5

At 10:50, try d4 rather than d3. It’s close quarters and black gets developed but, if played accurately, White should be fine and be able to avoid the damaged pawns.

Good lecture. The Qf3 variation seems the best. The engines seem to prefer black after Nf3.

Hi. Why don't you recommend the move 6.bxc3 in order to play with d4 in the line e4e5 Nc3Nf6 f4d5 fxe5Nxe4 Qf3Nxc3 ?

I've won a couple of games with that line. By the way the dxc3 seems ok the way you explained it but i was so shocked it actually existed
