FIN #28 - Well, guys, get ready: the comeback of Finnish logos is... GRANDIOUS! Aaaaaaand... SPORTY!

Olympics were a big thing back in the day in 1950's Finland, that a certain film studio was established to produce films regarding Olympic competitions! Some of them are still watchable today, and guess what, some were produced in a feature film format! Can you imagine that?

I was roused when I managed to find multiple varianations of this studio's logo. What really caught my attention were the idents at the closings (you know it is often for older Finnish films to contain them when they end, right?), as they give a real feeling on what was more to expect for the sport fans to see on the screen from the studio. And, since the logos are all identical, even though their variations are small, I decided to compile everything in one video. So enjoy looking at the saga of Olympic film intros and endings!

The opening logo is taken from "Maailmat kohtaavat" (1952).
The closing logo is taken from "Kultaa ja kunniaa" (1953).
The closing logo without "OY" is taken from "Olympia-katsaus 0" (1952).
The closing logo with mentioning the production of the film and a city of the studio's establishment (which is Helsinki) was taken from "Muistojen kisakesä 1952" (1954).
