In 2040, I was hoping my son would be saying something like, 'hey dad, do you remember that medical condition I had when I was growing up?' and I'd say, 'oh yeah son, that was called type 1 diabetes'.

There has to be a cure by then, surely! Sadly, I'm not convinced there will be, sadly, for there are a lot of companies that make a lot of money from this disease.
