MrBeast Is Too Big To Fail [OP-ED]

This is my OP-ED on the recent MrBeast drama and allegations. I don't think MrBeast's career is gonna be touched by any of this. There will be promises made, some things may change, but MrBeast is just too big fail. Perhaps the first creator who is truly untouchable and is the powerful person on this platform.

Some brands might shy away from him now, but the majority of sponsors will still find his huge reach very alluring.

As a guy who has seen what this platform and community has become i agree with this fully

The drama has become less about justice against evil and more about how much can we exploit it for "our" betterment

MrBeast's philanthropy stunt videos are not too dissimilar from corporate ad campaigns where they "give back to the community", "plant trees" etc. It's an expense to generate attention and increase sales of merch, chocolate and whatnot. Lucky for him, his audience is young enough to not be able to understand what he's doing.

I used this site since 2005 and I've seen so many creators of viral videos log in after almost 2 decades without even knowing they went viral to thank the audience. We need to go back to those times when Youtube was all about sharing your memories and experiences without wanting anything in return.

yeah this drama is a prime example why i just don't care about drama anymore. all the allegations, all the stuff "allegedly happening" nothing ever comes of it to the big people that make this platform money because they are their cashcows and google's infinite money glitch to keep this whole youtube thing running and profitable for them. look at the SSSniperwolf stuff for example she did some really messed up stuff and she got a slap on the wrist. you know why that is? because she another cashcow just like mr. beast and cr1tical they all on a special whitelist.
