Data backups and the NCSC 3-2-1 rule

To help councils tackle growing cyber threats, the Local Government Association has released explainer animations on cyber security concepts. These short videos are aimed at non-technical audiences, to raise awareness and increase understanding among council officers and councillors, and aid decision making by senior leaders when engaging with cyber risk.

The fourth video in the series defines what we mean by data backups, explains what the NCSC 3-2-1 rule is and how to apply it at your council.
