The practice of putting two resistors in parallel is to up the total wattage. When these were sold, it probably made sense rather than supplying a high wattage single resister, as the ones used were likely already in stock and cheaper.

Nice job. A pleasure to watch. Just wondering if it has the capacity (no pun intended!) to check which is the “ground” side of non-polarized capacitors?

how does this to the compare heathkit c-3 I'm going to spend some money, if this IT-28 that is newer than the C-3 is easier to use or about th same
for about the same money. Then I'll get the IT-28 I guess?
