When it comes to your bowl I think OWWM Rule No. 5: In the time between finding a machine and asking others if you should buy it someone else will come to the proper conclusion., applies. I left a small Wilton vise that I should have bought at an estate sale. You can’t win them all, but it is fun to try.

The watering can is rather nice. And I would have had the set of clamps for £3 all day long, although I bet you haggle better than me. £8.50 for the goggles. All the best

Ben, you really go for the junk don’t you? The Stanley plane is my highlight, but what did you pay for the opera goggles? Given that you were miffed over the bowl, I think you went overboard here and splashed out all of £3.50, probably paying it in dirty 2p’s
