It hits harder when you realize they were childhood friends 😭

Up and Inside Out made me cry admittedly.

For Up - the opening sequence is what got me the most. When Ellie gave Carl her adventure book and one of the pages said, “Thank you for the adventure, now go have a new one!” tears flowed out of my eye sockets. Still the greatest Pixar’s sequence.

For Inside Out - it still hits me in the feels to this day. In the scene where Joy and Bing Bong were getting out of the Memory Dump, he tells Joy to sing louder, before leaping out of the rocket.

When Joy reached upward to the top, she was questioning where Bing Bong was, before hearing him cheering for her in the dump. And that’s when he said, “Take her to the moon for me, okay?” and MAN, that hit hard. Riley’s childhood imaginary friend was gone. And admittedly, Joy felt sad about it.

These two movies are still my favorite Pixar movies, mainly for how creative they are. And since they’re both directed by Pete Docter, the long-time chief creative officer for the Emeryville-based studio.

BRO, same here. UP was so true of life, and it was so sad, I think I cries every time there's an emotional scene 😢

Petition: UP! told a better love story in five minutes than Twilight did in five movies.

I never noticed how those movies made us smile as a kid but cry as an adult

When Bing Bong sacrificed himself and said to joy “take her to the moon for me” while slowly fading I started tearing up

Up’s opening sequence is DEFINITLY heartbreaking. But everytime i talk about it with friends NOBODY SAYS THAT THEY CRIED WHEN CARL WAS GOING THROUGH THE MEMORY BOOK AND HIS WIFE WROTE “thanks for the adventure; now go have a new one!” THAT MADE ME CRY MORE THEN THE OPENING SEQUENCE.

As someone who lost lost mom, twin sibling, grandma, aunt, and even my dog, I cried so much when I watched finding nemo.

The Pixar movie that made me cry the hardest was WALL-E, it’s just so beautiful in every aspect

Up is honestly the best and emotional Pixar movie that I've ever watched. One of the saddest part that I remember is where Carl loses his wife like it hits so hard. 😢

I love how in the older shorts, Riggy was meant to be representing him, but now riggy’s just his own character

The Carl and Ellie scene always makes me sentimental, it just hurts to know that they loved each other, it always makes me cry

Up was definitely sad. I never found it sad as a kid. I rewatched it and I felt sad. I didn’t cry but it was super sad

Inside Out came out right around the time I was Riley's age, a young angsty teen, and I think I cried 4 separate times during that movie. It was and still is very emotional for me.

I watched up in 4th grade and I was crying so hard. Literally like 3 girls in my class were trying to comfort me, like that's how bad it was. It was kind of awkward, but sweet at the same time. Coco also made me cry a lot, especially at the end.

For me it was Coco, something about the grandma dying in the end just hit me hard. And when the already dead people would be forgotten it hurt me

Honestly, there was no pixar movie that hit me like The Good Dinosaur did. If i was alone watching that i wouldve been drenched in tears
