I'm an atheist/agnostic, I don't believe in divinity or the supernatural, but Trump surviving was one in a couple million, it was a margin of millimetres and milliseconds that stood between him and death. My first thought when I saw the footage was, divine intervention. The odds of Trump moving his head at that angle and at that very moment are astronomically small, it's nothing short of miraculous that he's alive.

I think Trump is actually scared for the first time in his life. I think that up until this point he felt generally protected, but after the assassination attempt he’s actually considering bigger questions about his role in history now. The first sentence out of his mouth at the RNC was literally ‘I shouldn’t be here’ which to me indicates doubt, possibly fear… but after the crowd showed unwavering love and support for him, I think he found the answer he was seeking: Should I continue or not?… The answer is a resounding yes. Trump now TRULY believes in something more powerful than himself, but where this newfound faith will take him, God only knows.
