Hello rosebuds! Excited to announce that my new song, The Lonely Prince, is out today! 🫅

Over the past few years, I’ve been feeling a little lost and trying to unravel a lot of the beliefs I had when I was younger. I used to write music mainly in the pursuit of money and building a following. But going through a breakup and dealing with mental health struggles caused a huge shift in my mindset. In becoming a more empathetic person, I’ve realized that money isn’t everything. I’ve also realized how powerful songs can be in healing the soul.

I live in an area where people compete for the highest paying jobs from the most prestigious technology companies. I work in an industry where clout and following often determine success. But I’m learning to care less about the likes and followers and money, and more about writing songs to bring a little more happiness to the world.

So anyway, this song is a little metaphor about my journey thus far. I hope you guys like it.

The new king doesn't feel like the throne is his place. He overthrew his father for the sake of the people and forgot them only to understand that this isn't what he wanted. I guess this is truly what power does to people, and in the end, when you forget the people who helped you, all that's left is loneliness. It's a beautiful message to be grateful, in my opinion.

Want to take a moment to point out how all the scenery he picks for EVERY VIDEO is STUNNING, like it’s something so simple as the wind moving the crown, but the vibe is THERE. Ok ok- People are making parallels to The King and this maybe being a sort of failed timeline but- counter idea... This is the Grandson of the original King. The legacy he'd have is his father trying to help the people and overthrow a tyrant... only to become one. He grew up with a man who wouldn't have cared about him as a person, only as an extension of him. But it sounds like they both knew he couldnt fill those bloody shoes. And then the people stood up again and overthrew them, banishing the Lonely Prince to make sure it couldn't all repeat again- when the Lonely Prince would never have wanted the same life his ancestors led
