Girl I feel you that happened to me with the not polish monomer now I add acetone to it and it helps set much faster. It could be the cold weather sometimes running your hands under warm hot water for a few minutes helps it set I do that when I use odorless monomer! Hope this helps!

love the way this set turned out!! ik this video is a month old so i’m sure you’ve found some techniques to help already but when you mentioned the flooding of the cuticle, i also struggled with this and found working with ‘dryer’ beads at the cuticle helps a lot!

Beautiful 💅 set. I love young nails and Kupa's clear and I use young nails and NotPolish monomer on all brands of acrylic they are universal.

You did a really good job with this set!! I totally get how you feel when the set doesn’t come out the way you want it too 😟 but you kept going!!! Proud of you!!! 🤗
Also I use Mia secret Clear and glits n glam clear is also good. 💜
Now Monomer I love the smell of it so I really can’t recommend any 😂

the powder may have not set due to the temperature in the room, or maybe because some monomers aren't compatible with other brands. the not polish monomer is a fairly low order universal monomer. but yay you used tips, you did great! fabulous design

I used the Mia's secret monomer and I went to do my cousin's set and it never dried and I learned that was because the monomer was too cold or the environment in which we were in was too cold. It will not set if it is not the right temp. I switched to kiara sky monomer and that one works very well even if cold.

Girl you did amazing, we will always have bad and good days and it is on the bad days that we learn best, don't be so hard on yourself you are doing great, and practices make it perfect, I tried acrylic for the first time and let me tell you it's no joke, but it is where the fun begins and we start to push ourselves to get better and better...the monomer smell puts me off sometimes, I need to find some odour drops or a monomer without a smell...
But hey love...amazing work...i loved the set 😘😘
